Hospitals attached to colleges often see huge patient volumes, providing exposure to a diverse range of cases early on.
Asia: Disadvantages
Quality can differ significantly between colleges and countries. Make sure the college is approved by the medical council of the country where students intend to practice. While courses are taught in English, internships often involve patients and local doctors speaking the native language (for example, Russian and Mandarin). While top colleges are excellent, some colleges, especially in less developed regions, may have outdated equipment or facilities compared to European counterparts.
